This training session will assist your organisation to fulfil its legislative obligation to prepare a Gender Equality Action Plan by October 2021.

We recommend organisations register staff members leading Gender Equality Act 2020 Implementation, with gender/diversity & inclusion responsibilities, along with Human Resources/systems and change management expertise where possible.

The training takes 4 hours delivered over two separate sequential sessions held on the same day:

A 1.5hr webinar geared to providing participants from defined entities with the KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS required to formulate a Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP). Participants will gain understanding of the elements needed for an effective GEAP, reporting obligations and how to engage staff in consultation for transformational change.
A 2.5 practical online workshop will provide participants from defined entities with the TOOLS and an understanding of different TECHNIQUES for addressing gender inequities in a planned and incremental way. Participants will learn how to use INFORMATION and DATA derived from Workplace Gender Audits, staff surveys and other information to develop a plan unique to their organisation. Case studies will be explored within interactive breakout sessions.
