Genetic Alliance Australia Forum 2025: Shared Strengths for Rare Futures
Event description
Genetic Alliance Australia is proud to invite you to our flagship community event — a night to reflect, connect, and celebrate the people and progress shaping the future of rare and genetic conditions.
The 2025 Forum theme, “Shared Strengths for Rare Futures,” honours the unique strengths that exist within and across our community — in lived experience leadership, research and care — and how these shared strengths are creating more equitable, supported, and hopeful futures.
An interactive Research & Advocacy Showcase will run throughout the evening profiling community-led projects, research initiatives, and advocacy efforts.
Date: September 24th, 2025
Venue: Strangers Dining Room, NSW Parliament House, 6 Macquarie St, NSW 2000
Hosted by: The Hon. David Harris MP, Minister for Medical Research, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Treaty, Minister for Gaming and Racing, Minister for Veterans
