Event description

If you have been around in the ecovillage movement, you must have heard of Auroville - the City of Dawn. However, how much do you understand about this community, its philosophy, history and current status?

If you haven’t heard of Auroville. Terrific! Let’s find out!

Considered as the biggest intentional community in the Global Ecovillage Network with over 2500 residents and 55 years of history,  Auroville wants to be a universal town where men and women of all countries are able to live in peace and progressive harmony above all creeds, all politics and all nationalities.

Come join us in our GENOA Community Call this October 2022 where we will welcome friends from Auroville who will share with us about their community, especially through the lens of youth. You will also get the chance to hear about their organization - Auroville Green Practices - which conducts activities to bridge the City of Dawn with the bigger world.
