One Night Only • Limited Seating • Free for Invited Guests

Thank you for joining me in March for the test performance of GENUS 394Wz.

Your feedback and support helped bring this next stage of the project to life, and since then, I’ve reworked Aanigma, refined the script, added theatrical lighting, and made a number of exciting changes.

I hope you’ll join us for this next chapter of GENUS 394Wz.

Please RSVP by October 13 to reserve your seat. Admission is free, but seating is limited and available to invited guests only.

GENUS 394Wz is a poetic sci-fi allegory presented as a visually and musically rich hybrid puppet theatre–film production. Performed live by Wendy Passmore-Godfrey and featuring video performances by eight local Calgary actors, the work traces the mythic history of an imagined Genus and its species across deep time. Guided by Aanigma, a timeless narrator, the species are revered, consumed, classified, engineered, abandoned, and more — asking how power, empathy, and ethical responsibility shape humanity’s treatment of “others.”
