Generation Swing West Coast Swing & Modern Jive Social Dance Party!

West Coast Swing and Modern Jive are partner dance styles that can be danced to a huge variety of music: pop, R&B, blues, hip hop, and much more! 

The social playlist will be composed of music suitable for both WCS and MJ! We take song requests, as long as it's on Spotify and appropriate, we will play it!

We have an absolutely fantastic venue 'The Great Hall' at St Joseph's Parish Centre which boosts 10m x 20m of floor space AND is right in the heart of South Yarra just a 3minute walk to Jam Factory.

Doors Open/Social Dancing kicks off at 7:30pm

Parking:

• Easiest option is paid parking available at Jam Factory on Chapel Street (3 min walk)
  

Easy walking distance from the South Yarra Railway Station and Chapel Street Tram stops 

What to Bring:

• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
• Always a good idea to bring a drink bottle - we have access to a kitchen to refill
• Deodorant if you need it & change of shirt if you tend to get sweaty
