Renowned for his fiery guitar work, soulful voice, and genre-blending sound, Geoff Achison is a celebrated blues-roots artist from Australia whose music continues to resonate with fans around the world. With a career spanning over three decades, Geoff has earned a global reputation for his electrifying performances, inventive guitar style, and heartfelt songwriting.

ELECTRIC STYLES: Initially gaining attention as lead guitarist for Aussie blues legend Dutch Tilders, Geoff launched his solo career in the early ’90s, He formed The Souldiggers to pursue his own genre busting vision blending blues, rock, jazz, and old-school soul in a quest to push the boundaries of creativity. A unique and inventive guitarist, with a keen palette for all styles, Geoff has been hired as a reliable sideman for other artists too, including Randall Bramblett, Yonrico Scott, Tom Waters and legendary Aussie band STARS to name a few.

ACOUSTIC STYLES: With his grass-roots, organic style and easy charm, Geoff delivers the perfect laid-back acoustic set blending old-school fingerstyle, deep blues, contemporary folk and re-imagined classics. Between songs, he shares entertaining tales from his storied career, always delivered with humour and heart. Geoff also offers engaging workshop sessions, where he shares his musical insights, stories, and techniques.

Geoff is honoured to be 'Official Patron' of the MBAS, and in 2020 Geoff was inducted into the Blues Music Victoria “Hall of Fame” joining the likes of the great Dutch Tilders, Phil Manning & Chris Wilson.
