Geraldine Ukefest 2026
Description
Hey everyone... Geraldine Ukefest is back! Yes, after a ten-year run followed by a three-year hiatus, we're rearing to go with a full program to celebrate our return. And not only are we back, Ukulollo is also back! Ukulollo, aka Lorenzo Vignando, performed to much acclaim at GUF19. Check out the highlights of that event here: https://youtu.be/du0zYIA6crE?si=h7rUliKXRckbUuvv
The original plan was that Lorenzo would bring two friends that make up his Ukulollo Power Trio, but oops! Due to documentation issues, two of the three Italians are unable to travel. But not to fear! We still have the magnificent Ukulollo, who will do the work of three men to ensure GUF26 delivers maximum happiness.
While we're disappointed not to welcome the full Italian contingent, Ukulollo remains one of Europe's most entertaining ukulele performers and will be bringing all the energy, laughs and musical magic you'd expect from a GUF headline act. The show must go on!
If you've been to Geraldine Ukefest before, you'll find the itinerary this time round is radically simplified, but packed with good times. As well as Ukulollo performing in Saturday night's concert, he'll be running a mass strumalong to hits of the 80s, and a mass workshop.
And of course we have all the GUF favourites: Ukes in Cafes and Ukes in Church, the Big Open Mic and, of course, the Big Strum led by Geraldine Ukefest hosts Hugh and Fi McCafferty.
WHAT TO WEAR? Geraldine in July is at the peak of winter, but always shines with the warmest of sunny days despite the cold. So we recommend layers. And if you need more, we have some of the best boutique stores in the south who'll help you find what you're looking for.
WHERE TO STAY? Our moteliers are looking forward to welcoming you, but do book soon as the school holidays begin that weekend too.
BRINGING A NON-UKULELE-PLAYING COMPANION? Don't worry. They'll have the time of their lives with no less than three vintage vehicle museums, a military museum, two golf courses, an independent cinema and an entertainment multi-hub with golf, flight, and motor racing simulators. Yep. So much fun, they might want to move to Geraldine full-time.
