Want to start composting at home but not sure where to begin?

Join Robyn Brown from Waste Is My Resource for a practical and informative Home Composting Systems Workshop, designed to support Shire residents who are interested in starting or improving composting at home.

The Shire promotes Home Composting Rebates to encourage residents to reduce organic waste and adopt more sustainable behaviours at home. This workshop complements the rebate program by providing residents with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to choose, set up and maintain a composting system successfully.

During the session, Robyn will explore a range of home composting systems and provide practical advice to help you choose an option that suits your household, available space and lifestyle.

What will you learn?

Different types of home composting systems and how they work.
How to choose the most suitable system for your home.
What materials can be added to your compost.
How to maintain a healthy composting system.
Common composting problems and how to troubleshoot them.
Practical ways to make better use of organic materials at home.

This workshop is a great opportunity to build your knowledge, ask questions and feel more confident about composting at home.

Whether you are completely new to composting or already have a system and would like to improve it, everyone is welcome.
