What is Get Connected! 1st Birthday Celebration!

Reconnect with yourself.

Connect with like minded others.

Have a great time doing stuff that's good for you.

It's not complicated. We just don't make time for it.

This is that time.

All helped by a facilitator that will keep your smiling with bad jokes, good intentions, and great exercises to make you feel fantastic.

Whilst each week is different, we'll run through exercises proven to reduce stress, increase mindfulness, foster strong connections, and restore balance in your life, including:

Guided meditations and breath-work
Journaling and prompted writing exercises
Structured talking and listening exercises
Intention setting and planning
Inspiring (and mildly humorous) talks and guest speakers.

What do I need to bring?

Journal (either pen + paper or phone is fine). https://journey.cloud/ or https://www.allico.io/ are good options if you're looking for an app to use.
A mix of chairs and floor seating options will be made available. Bringing your own meditation cushion recommended.

What does a typical night look like?

The night starts at 6:30pm sharp. Please honour this time and space by arriving on time.

6:00pm Doors Open - Lights snacks available (recommend people eat before coming, or grab dinner with a new connection after the night)
6:30pm Introduction to each other and the night starts
7:00pm Meditation begins (note: If you arrive after the meditation begins, please be quiet when entering the building and quietly find a space)
7:30pm Journaling and Reflection
7:45pm Guided 1.1 Connection
8:00pm Intention Setting and Sharing
8:20pm Group Debrief
8:45pm Wrap Up and social time start
9:30pm Lights Out

NOTE: All snacks will be vegan, peanut-free and gluten-free by default. Please let us know in advance if you have other allergies, and we will do our best to accommodate. Food available on a first come, first served basis.

What the idea behind Get Connected!

Nature works on connection, reciprocity, with a beautiful celebration of individuality and the collective. This is In Our Nature too, and the more we connect to it, the more we too can grow, thrive, and live in harmony with ourselves and the world.
