Have you always thought about trying or returning to creative writing, but you're not sure how to start?

No matter what genre you're interested in, this workshop will provide an overview of the fundamentals of creative writing and some tools for incorporating writing into your daily life.

The workshop will consist of short readings, discussion and creative writing exercises based on broad prompts like questions, word fragments and images.

Writers are welcome to write in their preferred genre (fiction/non-fiction; prose, poetry or script) and will not be required to share their writing with the group.

Please bring a notebook and pen or your laptop or mobile device suited to writing.

Light refreshments will be served for morning tea.
