The next Queensland Chapter seminar will be held on Tuesday, 25 November 2025 at 12 pm and will be held online only. We will hear about the Get Serious on Road Safety campaign.

The Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ) was joined by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH Group), and Queensland Trucking Association (QTA) to launch the Get Serious on Road Safety campaign as part of Queensland Road Safety Week 2025. The Get Serious on Road Safety campaign aims to draw attention to Queensland’s devastating road trauma and proposes much-needed reforms to address the concerning and dangerous road use culture that is significantly contributing to road crash fatalities and serious injuries across the state.

Please join us for this special ACRS seminar presentation by Joel Tucker from RACQ. He will update us on the background, development, campaign features and recommended next steps for saving lives in Queensland.

Once you have registered, a Zoom meeting link will be sent to the email address you used to register.

Presenter:
Joel Tucker Manager Road Safety and Technical at RACQ. He has worked in road safety roles for more than 20 years, with road safety research and policy development experience in an extensive array of topics primarily relating to road user behaviours and vehicle safety.
