Do you have a great business idea, or you have just started your business, then join us for Getting Started in Business. Get it right from the start, learn the foundations of business, and set yourself up for success in this 3-part business startup workshop series.

Workshop 2: Business Models, Budgeting & Financial Basics

This workshop looks at how your business could work day-to-day. We’ll cover business models, pricing, income streams, start-up costs, budgeting and simple financial planning. You’ll begin putting together a basic financial plan and testing whether your idea is practical, sustainable and financially viable.

Across three hands-on workshops, participants will work through practical activities and start building the foundations of their business. By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with useful tools and templates you can keep working on, including a simple business plan, marketing plan and financial plan.

To build a proper foundation for your business, it is best to participate in all three workshops, but it is possible to participate just in one or two of the three workshops.
