Women’s Health East and Youth Disability Advocacy Service are proud to launch Get the Go-Ahead, a collection of resources about affirmative consent, sexual and reproductive rights, and prevention of gendered violence for Disabled young adults. Aimed at Disabled people and those who work with or support us, these resources have been codesigned and coproduced by a Disabled Young Experts group.

Venue: Multipurpose Room, Community Hub at the Dock

Who: this evening is an opportunity for Disabled people and workers in community, health, youth, disability, and queer spaces to come together, get the first look at these new resources, and hear from Disabled young people from the codesign group.

What to expect
Doors open from 5:45pm. Arrive, register, enjoy some snacks, look through the printed resources in your own time, and find your seats

6pm: we begin!
You'll be sitting at a table with other attendees. There'll be snacks and drinks available

We'll introduce the resources and you'll get the first look at the videos
A panel of Disabled young experts will talk about their codesign experiences and the resources, and then answer audience questions
We'll end the evening with about 20 minutes for connecting with other attendees- facilitators at your tables will have some discussion prompts!

The room is on the 1st floor, and there's lift access
Masks are strongly encouraged and n95 masks will be provided

The nearest tram stop is Stop D18, routes 48 & 11. It's wheelchair accessible and the last stop on the line
