Event description

It's time for the Net Zero Network to try something a little different...

Many members of our community have expressed concern about the emotional toll working towards combating climate change can take. In this meetup, Keith Hutchings will explore the opportunities for forming a group to discuss, in a safe space, the concerns that climate change can cause us. How can we work to support eachother, as we each identify the role we might play in reducing emissions and adapting to the impacts of climate change?

Keith will use his usual blend of humour and Hawaiian shirts, along with his learnings from participation in other groups with similar objectives, to facilitate the discussion, alongside Sustainability Expert Alexandra Rivera.

Come along to our events to learn how you and your organisation can contribute to decarbonisation in a way which suits your circumstances. We hear from experts and enthusiastic amateurs on a regular basis about the tough challenges we must overcome to achieve deep decarbonisation of our society.

We are an apolitical group. We welcome anyone interested in answering now the question our children will ask us in 30 years time: "what part did you play in getting to net zero emissions?".

We're based in Perth, Western Australia, but welcome discussion with members in other locations as well.
