This 'Getting A Job' panel event is ideal if you or someone close to you is...

  • not having much luck getting a job
  • soon to be entering the workforce for the first time (e.g. high school student wanting part time work, school leaver, new graduate)
  • returning to work after a break for family or other reasons
  • considering changing jobs but it's been a long time since you last applied for a job and you need a confidence booster

Our experienced panelists will answer questions about what to do and what not to do when it comes to:

  • Cover letters
  • AI in the application process
  • CVs
  • Interview skills e.g. what questions to ask
  • Presentation
  • Etiquette, being contactable
  • Cold-calling/ approaching businesses you'd like to work for

There will also be plenty of time for audience questions for our panelists too. 

Come along and glean expert tips from those whose work involves seeing lots of job applications, interviewing and employing people or helping people find work that matches their skills.
