Bitcoin Journey run this introduction in a clear and engaging way. It is open to all ages and assumes no prior knowledge. You do not need to bring a laptop, and you do not need to own any bitcoin.

This is an interactive session. Your questions, reflections and participation are not just welcome, they are the point.
Two dates, one session
It is the same session twice, so come to whichever suits your week. Wednesday 16 September at 6.00pm, or Thursday 17 September at 10.30am. Each runs two hours. There is no need to come to both.
Bring photo ID
Stacked, the host, is a New Zealand bitcoin platform. Attending is free, nobody has to buy anything, and there is no obligation to open an account. Bring photo ID only if you want to use the optional help desk at the session.
Ready to hold your own keys?
Bitcoin Journey also run their self-custody workshop in Auckland on the Friday. It is a hands-on session for people who already own bitcoin and want to take it off an exchange: Mastering Bitcoin - Self Custody Group Workshop
Who is running it
Stacked is a New Zealand bitcoin-only exchange and financial services provider, co-hosting these sessions. Bitcoin Journey run bitcoin education sessions and self-custody workshops, led by Francisco Colombo and Luli. Radical Investment are sponsoring the sessions and hosting them alongside Stacked.
Bitcoin Journey receives a referral fee from Stacked for attendees who open and fund an account.
