Mastering Bitcoin - Self Custody Group Workshop - Auckland

Take full control of your bitcoin.

Most people who own bitcoin leave it sitting on an exchange, where somebody else holds the keys. This workshop is the step after that. You will generate your own private keys on a physical wallet, and leave knowing how to use it properly.

Run by Francisco Colombo and Luli of Bitcoin Journey, who have taught this workshop around New Zealand and in Spanish across Latin America.

What you will do

• Generate your own private keys using a physical wallet
• Receive and send bitcoin securely
• Apply best practices for storing it long term
• Optimise network fees
• Protect your privacy

What is included

Your ticket includes a physical wallet to take home and NZ$5 of bitcoin, so you practise real transactions on the day rather than reading about them.

What to bring

Just bring your laptop.

Ten places

This is a hands-on session, not a lecture. It is limited to ten people so everyone gets time with their own wallet.
