Do you have a great business idea, or you have just started your business, then join us for Getting Started in Business. Get it right from the start, learn the foundations of business, and set yourself up for success in this 3-part business startup workshop series.

Workshop 1: Blue Sky Thinking, Your WHY & Your Business Plan

We’ll start by exploring your business idea and the reason behind it. This session covers purpose, values, early planning, branding basics and the building blocks of a business plan. You’ll begin working out what you want to create, who you want to help and what problem your business solves.

Across three hands-on workshops, participants will work through practical activities and start building the foundations of their business. By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with useful tools and templates you can keep working on, including a simple business plan, marketing plan and financial plan.

To build a proper foundation for your business, it is best to participate in all three workshops, but it is possible to participate just in one or two of the three workshops.
