Are you someone who keeps putting important "End of Life" documentation lower on your to-do list?

Do you find yourself saying "oh I'll get to that later"?

Have you had friends and family around you recently die and just know that you have to get things sorted, but just can't seem to make it happen?

This workshop is for YOU!

Join End of Life Doula Rani for a practical 3-hour workshop designed to take active steps in your end-of-life planning.

After a recent Death & Dying Expo, Rani received a couple of phone calls from people asking a similar thing...

"I've gathered the information but...
...I live alone and can't seem to make decisions"
...I'm not sure of the next steps to take?"
...I keep putting the end-of-life planning lower on my 'to do' list"

So, "Getting Your Affairs in Order" was born, to TAKE ACTION and start ticking off the "end-of-life planning checklist".

Through interactive exercises, guided activities & conversations, you will complete:

1. Advanced care directive
2. Discuss Guardianship
3. Basic Funeral plan

We have a guest joining us to speak about Enduring Guardian, which goes hand in hand with your Advanced Care Directive (ACD). KC Hilton, a local woopi solicitor will speak for 30 minutes to help us understand Guardianship and in particular, how to choose your Guardian carefully!

We will be completing your own Advanced Care Directive & funeral plan together as a supportive group.

Leave the workshop with a comprehensive plan in place, offering you and your loved ones peace of mind and clarity for the future.

Feedback from participants:

Lynda: “I’ve been trying to get end-of-life arrangements in place, but I’ve been unsure of what to do. By participating in the workshop, I have a clear picture of what I need to get in place to make my death easier for those around me. The workshop was informative, rewarding and comforting.”

John: “My wife & I have been talking about our end-of-life plans but not doing anything about it. I felt curious about the workshop and found it informative, empathetic and thoughtfully delivered. I’m walking away with a framework to move forward with.”

Kathleen: “I booked because I need all the help I can get to ‘get my affairs in order’. I am so glad I attended and felt it worthwhile, helpful and a good use of my time. I still have decisions to make but am more aware how it all fits together.”

Patti: “I have been attending numerous events regarding death e.g. the recent Expo, a death café, other seminars. I booked into this workshop as I have difficulty making the decisions and it feels complex. It was informative, enjoyable, it covered a lot and I got clearer on the process.”

Bob: “I booked into the workshop after a recent near-death experience. I am still recovering from surgery and that experience, but I became acutely aware of the importance of these conversations. The workshop mapped out what I am going to do to avoid a nightmare for my wife and family if I die suddenly. I am motivated and committed to getting my ‘affairs in order’ asap.”
