Experience tools to connect you with a sanctuary of peace and joy within.

Geeti and Gyan are really excited to be sharing two evenings of Naada yoga which will harness the power of sound to settle your nervous system and find a deep connection and peace within.
Vocal Toning, Mantra, Movement, Kirtan, Silence and Music will be woven together in this signature class that many previous students have been nourished deeply by.
“Practising Nāda yoga with Geeti & Gyan has opened up so many treasures & is one of my most favourite things to do in my week. So blessed to receive the deep connection, softness healing openings each week. Thank you" (Athena).
WHAT IS NĀDA YOGA?
Nāda Yoga is a form of yoga that works with sound as a technique for bringing us into a state of unity and calm quickly. Mantra and music as a focus for meditation is a powerful and enjoyable way to bypass the busy mind and access a deep and nourishing stillness that resides within us all.
Through a variety of sound based practices based on the ancient Vedic tradition of mantra and the Indian classical music tradition we are able to refine our ability to listen deeply, to free our voices and expand our hearts so we may rest in a state of fullness and joy.
Kirtan is one form of Nāda Yoga (Yoga of sound) and Bhakti Yoga (Yoga of the heart) combining ancient sanskrit sounds (mantras) with melody and rhythm offered in dynamic call and response.
Kirtan and mantra can help elevate our thoughts & emotions, purify and boost our energy and expand our awareness and can be practised by everyone, regardless of age or experience. No musical experience required, just a heart willing to sing, share and receive.
“Thank you Geeti from the bottom of my heart. You inspired me to think differently yesterday. All my life I've believed and been told I can't sing in tune so don't bother. Now I will bother and listen with different ears guided by your experience that we can release our voice. How liberating and magical that thought feels" (Annette).
WHAT TYPE OF MOVEMENT WILL THERE BE?
Sound is movement and movement in life! When we tone or chant or sing, we are naturally vibrating our physical and emotional bodies and with this process it is natural that energy will want to flow and move through us to find balance and wholeness.
The movement aspect of the class will provide a beautiful opportunity to allow time and space for this expression to happen, to move from the inside out. This will be supported by live and improvised music and some gentle guidance.
I AM A COMPLETE BEGINNER WITH NĀDA YOGA. CAN I STILL COME?
Most certainly.
The practices will be guided carefully so that they will be accessible for those who are coming for the first time. The main thing is to have an open mind and willingness to emerge yourself in the experience.
WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE AND TAKE HOME WITH ME?
*A simple and powerful vocal toning technique that will help settle your nervous system, enhance relaxation and release stress, bring focus and clarity, boost your immune system and energise and uplift you physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
*How to chant two Sanskrit Mantras that you can continue to practice at home. You will learn the correct pronunciation and specific meaning.
*An enhanced ability to listen deeply and connect with a source if inner stillness and peace.
* How to trust in your body and energy to move you from the inside out.
