The Gambling and Racing Commission invites you to participate in Gambling Harm Awareness Week 2023 to discuss how all stakeholders can ‘Prevent, Empower, Support’ to address gambling harm in the ACT. This free forum will identify practical strategies for all stakeholders to play a role in reducing and preventing gambling harm and highlight the evidence behind them.

Presentations will be practical in nature, with topics including:

· lived experience reflections
· gaming and its impact on future gambling behaviours
· prevention at the low end of the gambling harm continuum
· building skills and confidence of industry staff to engage with patrons on gambling harm
· normalising help-seeking.
