Ghost Media and Support Your Local Collective are joining forces once again to bring you a sunday session of epic proportions on the Third Eye Hi-Fi soundsystem - DENHAM AUDIO & MANI FESTO (CLUB GLOW) + LAZY DAISY & UNWELL
In a blizzard of breakbeats, b-lines and acid hooks, Denham Audio have brought new urgency and vitality to the modern rave scene, with a sound rooted in the legacy of UK hardcore, feeding into the buoyant areas of exploration happening between 140 and 160 BPM. As well as their own Club Glow imprint, they have released on labels such as N4 Records, WNCL Recordings, Durkle Disco and 40GRIT Records. Their single 'Make Me', a collaboration with Borai, was a massive hit which accrued tens of millions of plays and has brought new fans to the scene across the world.
Then there is Mani Festo. Caught in the provocative tension between futurism and tradition, Mani Festo is a champion for the transportive, perception-altering power of club music. With releases on labels such as WNCL, Rupture, Haven and Hooversound, Mani Festo presents a darkly seductive atmosphere drawing heavily on the relationship between hardcore-rooted music and vintage sci-fi. From the dedicated ethic of breakbeat science to the punchy machine funk of electro, there’s no single overbearing method to Mani Festo’s madness, just a commitment to shock and awe under the influence of the soundsystem.
On local support they will be joined by LAZY DAISY and UNWELL - two talented local DJs with deep crates and their own take on the club sound. All four will be playing on the legendary THIRD EYE HI-FI soundsystem, bringing it back to its Bristol roots and creating a warm rumble in the bottom of your feet.
