What is The Circular Economy Collage?

The Circular Economy Collage is an interactive workshop designed to help participants understand how our current production and consumption systems work, and explore practical solutions for building a more sustainable, circular future.

Working in small groups, participants will use a set of illustrated cards to piece together the key concepts, challenges, and opportunities of the circular economy. Together, we’ll connect the dots, identify key leverage points, and reflect on how circular thinking can be applied in our personal lives, workplaces, and communities.

Whether you’re new to the topic or already familiar with circular economy principles, this workshop offers a hands-on and engaging way to deepen your understanding and spark new ideas for change.

Why this matters

Our current economic system is largely linear: we take, make, and dispose — placing increasing pressure on natural systems, communities, and future generations.

At Citizen COP Australia, we believe every meaningful conversation and decision about sustainability and the future must begin with a clear understanding of how our economy shapes the world around us.
