About the Book:

Glenda was a gibbon with a solid claim to fame; when it came to playing pickleball, she’d never lost a game. Winning felt so wonderful, it became her sole ambition. She was obsessed with being best, she had to win every competition. But what happens when Glenda meets a new pickleball contender?

About the Author:

Kelly Brodie-Brown is a picture book author who grew up in the UK and moved to Melbourne after meeting her Australian wife. They now live in the western suburbs with their four-year-old daughter and malodorous dog. She has always enjoyed writing in rhyme and has a long history of making up novelty songs for people’s birthdays, usually unsolicited. Prior to moving to Australia, Kelly worked in marketing and PR for a London-based film studio writing press releases and promotional material. She also completed a course in screenwriting at the London College of Communication, with a focus on writing for TV.

About the Illustrator:

Hi there, I'm Inge Daniels, a graphic designer turned illustrator with a passion for picture books. I grew up in a small village in the Netherlands, and my creative path has taken me through the UK and all the way to Australia. That’s where I met my now-wife and our cat. These days, the three of us split our time between Australia and the Netherlands. Fuelled by tea and inspired by nature, I can find endless creativity (and occasional distraction) in the world around me.
