Gibbs Farm - Waioneke School Fundraiser
Event description
Waioneke School is excited to present a rare opportunity to visit Gibbs Farm Sculpture Park on Friday 28th April.
Nestled by the Kaipara Harbour, Gibbs Farm hosts the largest outdoor sculpture collection in the Southern hemisphere. The sculptures capture the region and elements of the landscape and harbor with a series of site-specific commissions by some of the world’s most renowned artists including Andy Goldsworthy, Anish Kapoor and Richard Serra. Gibbs Farm is privately owned and not open to the public unless by booking only, so this event offers a very special and unique opportunity.
There is no option to purchase any food or drink on the farm. So, pack a picnic lunch, remember your camera and enjoy a family day out. Wander at your leisure, admiring the sculptures and exotic animals, including giraffes and zebras!
