GIG FOR GAZA: on the Main Stage! @ Kuranda Ampitheatre

FNQ family! Come get your boogie on for the Palestinian cause! As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen for more than a year and a half, have you been feeling heartbroken but powerless? Have you been feeling angry but alone? Join us at this year's "Gig for Gaza", and you'll be reminded that you are not powerless, and you are not alone. Last year, more than 200 of us came together at the Kuranda Amphitheatre's little pavilion area to fundraise for the victims in Gaza. This September, we are bringing back FNQ's only fundraiser concert for Gaza - but this time on the MAIN STAGE of the Amphitheatre! Come for the music and stay for the fire-twirling, Bugzy Bumblebee's giant bubble, free face-painting, speeches by Palestinians, delicious food and a drink at the bar! (Yup, this year's event is fully licensed!) Confirmed acts include: Mau Power x DJ Vix, Lucy Gallant, Bala Kaijo, Phat Love, YIRGJHILYA, JC (Funkdafied), Satoshi, Stepaside and stand-up comedian Jay Wymarra, with many more to be announced! Just as last year, all performers and hosts are volunteering their time for this event, and every cent of the proceeds will to directly to provided urgently needed humanitarian aid in Gaza. Come show your solidarity and blow some steam off with a day full of awesome tunes! This is a family-friendly event that goes well into the night for the real party lovers!
