GIINGAN Gumbaynggirr CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
Event description
Held monthly in the Orara East State Forest, the Giingan Experience is an interactive morning consisting of a 2hr informative tour. Engage in Gumbaynggirr culture through language, dance, story telling, damper making, and much more.
Enjoy our Wajaarr Ngaarlu Dancers performance at Sealy Lookout, while enjoying Aunty Jenny's damper... Then take the walk down to Korora Lookout and hear the Dreaming stories of how the land was made to north..
Once the tour is over, guests can head back to the Nyanggan Gapi Cafe and enjoy a delicious coffee and cake.
Tickets for the Giingan Tour can be purchased at the Nyanggan Gapi cafe (at Sealy Lookout) on the day, or through our website (link below- please write "Giingan" in additional Information)
