The Ginger Lemongrass Festival will be at Golden Grove High School Oval from 17 - 19 November 2023.

In partnership with Golden Grove High School, Asia Oasis will be hosting this three-day festival with the mission to enrich the public community, students, and teachers through a vibrant fusion of Asia street food, music and cultural performing arts.

The Oval will transform into a vibrant celebration of Asian culture, from delicious curation of Asian street food, folk games, art workshops, cooking classes and cultural performances.

Of course, it would not be memorable without the Bali hut style, bamboo umbrellas and lanterns wall to finish the Asian tropical ambience.

The stage comes alive with cultural performances and music from some of our most loved local groups. It's more than just entertainment; it's an opportunity to honour the traditions passed down through generations.

But don't just be a spectator – become an active participant! Engage in art workshops and timeless folk games like jumping bags, walking on bamboo stilts competitions, and other exciting challenges. Not familiar with any of these games? Don’t worry, we’ve got you! Our team members will be by your side, guiding you through these games so you can have the best experience. These activities remind us that culture is meant to be lived, celebrated, and cherished together.

And when you need a break, indulge your taste buds in the exciting world of Asian street food. Savour fiery Malaysian curries, delicate Japanese desserts, aromatic Indian samosas, flavoursome Singaporean laksa, crunchy spring rolls, delicious pad Thai, and many more dishes. In addition, there will be henna & face painting and yoga/mindfulness sessions to satisfy your creative urge to relax and chill out.

Although free entry, with early registration, you will enter into exciting and interesting door prizes that you surely enjoy and appreciate.
