Gippsland Jobs Hub: Connecting People and Work
Event description
Join us for our August Innovation Breakfast as we preview the soon to be re-launched Gippsland Jobs Hub. This regional platform has been re-imagined to better connect job seekers and employers across Gippsland.
Led by the Gippsland Skills and Jobs Centre, this 'Real Jobs for Local People' initiative is a collaboration with the six local councils in Gippsland. This resource has been developed for employers to advertise their jobs for free and for job seekers to search for local jobs.
The session will explore how this platform can help promote sustainable economic growth and productive employment in our region. Attendees will see a live demonstration of the new website and its improved functionality and be provided with an overview of the support services on offer to help employers and job seekers alike.
This event will launch the website in the Latrobe Valley region, and will be a practical session for employers, recruiters, and anyone helping people in Gippsland connect with meaningful work and training, for the benefit of our regional economy.
