Gippsland Pride Rainbow Family Christmas (Community Swim and Dinner) 2023
Event description
We are delighted to partner with Loy Yang B Power Station to bring about a very special event on Saturday 16th December.
This is an activity for the Gippsland LGBTQIA+ Community and our loved ones, carers and families, to come together for reconnection, respite and recharge after a massive year.
You may elect to utilise a funded ticket, or purchase a ticket at cost. No margin is applied to this event, to keep this activity as accessible as possible.
The special day includes:Â
A private hire of Mirboo North Pool, all bodies welcome.Â
Gender inclusive bathroom facilities provided, as well as wheelchair and disability access to all areas.
We'll provide a traditional Christmas dinner, a visit from Santa and entertainment from our dear friend Frock Hudson (who might just share some Christmas Carols).Â
Doors open at 4.00 PM, Dinner kicks off at 5.00 PM with special guests including Santa and Frock Hudson with a 8.00 PM finish.
This is a secure event, so we ask all ADULTS to please individually complete this form (RSVP and Registration is required for entry) - children can be counted in the questions below.Â
Please comment below if dietary restrictions extend also to the young people joining you for lunch!
We are able to provide limited funded spots for dinner available thanks to support from Loy Yang B Power Station, so please come along for chats, deliciousness and an overdue catch up with community by the pool!
Registration is essential for security and catering purposes, this is a private event.Â
Your young people are welcome to join you of course, so please let us know any dietary or access needs so we can support for your participation. We ask that parents supervise children at all times.
As always, our events are for LGBTQIA+ folks and our loved ones.
