Event description

Come along to our first face-to-face network meeting of the year in Gippsland and engage with local educators as they discuss how to embed sustainability in your school’s curriculum.

You will have a chance to hear from:

• Kitchen Garden teacher Kath Arber as she shares some of the successes and challenges, she navigates to make Stockdale Rd Primary School’s Kitchen Garden program what it is today.

• Sustainability teacher Cherrie Kaufmann, who has been specialising in teaching sustainability and running Liddiard Rd Primary School’s animal and gardening program for over a decade.

• Powerpops project manager, Stephanie Sabrinskas from the Gippsland Climate Change Network (GCCN), about what their educational tool Powerpops is, and how useful it is in the classroom.

Face-to-face events such as these are a great way to meet and talk with others about their own school's sustainability journey. For those of you who haven’t yet met their Resourcesmart School’s facilitators in person, we would love the opportunity to meet and engage with you at this network meeting.

Morning tea will be provided.

Please note that there is an opportunity for your replacement CRT costs to be covered during your attendance at this network meeting. (This offer is limited to one participant per school per year).
