It's that day we look forward to each month and THE LAST one for the year, a Girls Rock monthly ride!

Join us for a day of sunshine, singletrack, and smiles as we hit the beautiful Santa Cruz mountain trails together! Meet other rad women riders, move your body, and wrap it all up with tasty eats and cold drinks at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing.

Whether you're new to the trail or a seasoned shredder, all levels are welcome, 18 years+ event and registration is always FREE.

Our ride crew will help you pick the perfect route, so the only thing you need to focus on is having a blast! Oh, and did we mention raffle prizes? Yep, those will be there too.

Girls Rock ride starting at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing!

This is an Adult-Only event. You must be 18 years or older to participate. When you register, signing a waiver is MANDATORY, which releases us from liability.

Schedule

8:45am – 9:30am — Check-in (registration is mandatory for all riders, guides), add a Clif Bar to your pack.

9:15am - 9:30am — Guide meeting

9:30 am — Safety announcements, group photo

10:00 am — Break into groups by level, roll out to our fav Santa Cruz trails (we'll be near Emma McCrary Trail, UCSC, Dela!)

12:00 – 3:00pm — Ride ends. Return times will vary by group. Refuel with food and beverages available at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing.

Ride Levels:

At registration, you will be asked for your ride level. See Riding Levels OR, take our Ride Level survey. IMPORTANT: If you are new to Girls Rock, select a level down from what you might ride. If you are a guide, you must select a level down from what you normally ride. Girls Rock rides are designed for a social pace, which should be easy for all. Please do not try to push yourself at a Girls Rock ride. Fatigue can be a factor that leads to injury, and we strive to keep all riders and volunteers safe.

Location & Parking

We will meet at Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing at 402 Ingalls St #27, Santa Cruz, CA. (Located inside Swift Street Courtyard) Please park and unload on the street. Please make our event more sustainable by biking or carpooling to the event!

Important Reminders

- When you register, signing a waiver is MANDATORY, which releases us from liability. This is an Adult-Only event. You must be 18 years or older to participate.

- Volunteers: Please register with Girls Rock organizers for ride-day roles like guiding and other volunteer roles.

-Health: If you don’t feel well, please stay home.

-Safety: Mountain biking is a dangerous sport. When you come riding with us, we assume that you have reviewed risks and accept responsibility for your personal safety. Learn more. Bring your helmet, eye protection, water, sunscreen/long sleeves/long socks; and a mountain bike in good working order

-Prepare to ride: MTB takes energy and strength, so eat breakfast, pack water and snacks for your ride with us.

-Don't be sorry! Bring locks to secure bikes after the ride; do not leave valuables unattended
