GIRO D'ITALIA WINE TASTING

Travel around Italy and tantalise your tastebuds with our Giro d'Italia Wine Tasting presented by Italian sommelier, Alessandro Moscatelli from Profumo Wines who will give you an insight into each wine, their characteristics, how it is produced and what makes them so unique.

Five exquisite wines from five different regions of Italy all matched with five delicious tasting dishes from their respective region. A complete sensory experience!             

• Prosecco (Veneto) - Matched with "Boccone di Polenta con Speck": Polenta square topped with Speck.
• Falanghina (Campania) - Matched with "Calzoncino Bufala & Pomodoro": Mini Calzone filled with Buffalo mozzarella & tomato.
• Rosato (Sardinia) - Matched with "Assaggio di Formaggio sardo": A selection of Sardinian cheese served with the traditional Sardinian bread Pan Carasau.
• Chianti (Tuscany) - Matched with "Pappardelle alla Nana": A typical Tuscan dish made with long thick flat pasta tossed with a slow-cooked Duck Ragu`.   
• Primitivo (Puglia) - Matched with "Orecchiette alle Cime di Rape": Ear-shaped pasta tossed with garlic, chilli and rabbe (broccolini type vegetable).

This event is a fundraIser to help us raise some much-needed funds for the ANFE Capital Works Fund to help with the refurbishment of the NEW ANFE premises at Stafford scheduled to open in 2023.

Please note: Tickets for this event are very limited and will be allocated on a first-in-first -served basis. If you are purchasing your ticket singularly and are part of a group, please send an email to info@anfe.com.au with the name of your Booking so we can ensure you will be seated with them. To enter on the day, please bring a copy of your Ticket Purchase on your phone or paper.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person by advising ANFE of the name change. 

Entry will be via 10 Wyandra Street, Newstead. 

No car-parking available on-site. Limited street parking available in surrounding streets (Wyandra, Wyatt, Masters Sts Commercial Road). It is highly recommended you catch a taxi, Uber or get someone to drop you off at the front door if possible.

*To receive the Special ANFE Membership price, you must be a Financial Member of ANFE. Membership status will be checked when booking is received. If you are not financial you will be required to renew or pay your membership subscription prior to the event.
