Giro d'Italia Wine Tasting

Celebrate ITALIAN MONTH at ANFE Italian Club with one of our most UNIQUE events!!!

Travel around Italy and tantalise your tastebuds with our Giro d'Italia Wine Tasting presented by Italian sommelier, Alessandro Moscatelli from Profumo Wines who will give you an insight into each wine, their characteristics, how it is produced and what makes them so unique.

Six exquisite wines from five different regions of Italy all matched with six delicious tasting dishes. A complete sensory experience!       

WINE TASTINGS:           

• Cester Camillo Prosecco Extra Dry (Veneto) - Matched with "Bouquet di Caprese": Fresh Buffalo Fior di Latte Mozzarella & tomato stack, topped with pesto & olives.
• Due Palme Fiano del Salento IGP 2023 (Puglia) - Matched with "Fiore di Zucca in pastella": Lightly beer-battered zucchini flower stuffed with goats cheese and orange peel. Topped with Olive Tapenade.
• Tenute Mazzolino, Terrazza Pavia, Pinot Noir IGT 2023 (Lombardia) - Matched with "Porchetta Bites": Italian style roast pork belly bite with pumpkin puree in red wine jus.
• Sella & Mosca Rosato di Alghero DOC 2023 (Sardinia) - Matched with "Raviolone di Ricotta di Bufala ": Large buffalo ricotta & spinach raviolo (1pce) tossed in a cherry tomato saude, basil and parmesan.  
• Colomba Bianca Syrah DOC (Sicily): Matched with Mini Spaghetto Carbonara - Pasta tossed with crispy guanciale finished with egg & pecorino cheese. Topped with black pepper.
• Garofano Eloquenzia Copertino DOC Negroamaro 2021 (Puglia) - Matched with "Brasato di Manzo": Slow-cooked beef cheek served with fried polenta.

This event is a fundraIser to help us raise some much needed monies for the ANFE Capital Works Fund to help complete the building works.

PLEASE NOTE - BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Seating for this event is very, very limited and will be allocated on a first-in-first-served basis. If you are purchasing your ticket singularly and are part of a group, please send an email to info@anfe.com.au with the name of your Table Booking Name so we can ensure you will be seated with together. Tables are "long-lunch" style and can seat up to 18 people so if your group is smaller, you will have other people on your table.

To enter on the day, please bring a copy of your Humanitix Ticket Purchase on your phone.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person by advising ANFE of the name change.

Entry will be via the Main Entrance ONLY located by entering from the ANFE driveway in Victor Street.

Limited car-parking available on-site. Street parking available in surrounding streets. It is highly recommended you catch a taxi, Uber or get someone to drop you off at the front door.

N.B. To receive the Special ANFE Membership price, you must be a Financial Member of ANFE. Membership status will be checked when booking is received. If you are not financial you will be required to renew or pay your membership subscription prior to the event.
