Roman Holiday feat. Pasta Cheese Wheel

SPECIAL EVENT - LAUNCHING ITALIAN MONTH @ ANFE ITALIAN CLUB

Join us for this unique event when our Roman Head Chef, David Ruggiero transports us to his native city with some amazing typical roman dishes, including the famous Pasta Cheese Wheel which will be cooked in front of you. Watch as he makes the famous pasta Tonnarelli al Cacio e Pepe which is one of Rome's most popular dishes. And if pasta is not your thing, there are plenty of other roman delicacies to choose from this special menu.

WHEN: SUNDAY, 01 JUNE 2025

TIME: 12pm - 3pm

WHERE: ANFE ITALIAN CLUB, 429 Stafford Road, Stafford 4053

COST: $69.00 per person

ANFE Members: $64.00 per person (Member price is ONLY available to current financial ANFE Members)

ENTRY includes a three course meal (Entree`+ Main + Dessert).

When booking guests must choose the items (Entree` and Main) they wish to purchase to create their three course menu.

Menu choices include: (Choose one dish from Entrees and Mains. Dessert is the same for all)

ENTREE: (Choose ONE)

• Fiori di Zucca: Zucchini flowers stuffed with Fior di Latte mozzarella and anchovies.
• Polpette al Sugo: Meatballs in a rich tomato sugo.
• Carciofi Fritti alla Giudia: Deep fried Artichoke head - a Roman specialty from the Jewish Quarter of Rome.
  

MAINS: (Choose ONE)

• Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe: Direct from the Cheese Wheel on display. Long pasta tossed with cheese and finished with freshly grated black pepper.
• Coda alla Vaccinara with Gnocchi alla Romana: Rich Oxtail stew served with oven-baked Semolina Gnocchi discs.
  
• Abbacchio Scottadito: Roman-style marinated Lamb cutlets. Served with roast potatoes and Red Wine Jus.
  

DESSERT: Bigne` di San Giuseppe: Homemade profiteroles filled with custard.

This event is a fundraIser to help us raise some much needed monies for the ANFE Capital Works Fund to help complete the building works at the NEW ANFE premises.

PLEASE NOTE - BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Seating for this event is very, very limited and will be allocated on a first-in-first -served basis. If you are purchasing your ticket singularly and are part of a group, please send an email to info@anfe.com.au with the name of your Table Booking Name so we can ensure you will be seated with them. Tables are "long-lunch" style and can seat up to 18 people so if your group is smaller, you will have other people on your table.

To enter on the day, please bring a copy of your Humanitix Ticket Purchase on your phone.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person by advising ANFE of the name change.

Entry will be via the Main Entrance ONLY located by entering from the ANFE driveway in Victor Street.

Limited car-parking available on-site. Street parking available in surrounding streets. It is highly recommended you catch a taxi, Uber or get someone to drop you off at the front door.

N.B. To receive the Special ANFE Membership price, you must be a Financial Member of ANFE. Membership status will be checked when booking is received. If you are not financial you will be required to renew or pay your membership subscription prior to the event.
