GIVE A SHEET for the planet!
NAWMA is offering residents of Gawler, Playford and Salisbury councils the chance to recycle their unwanted linens.
Recycle your worn out linens on Sunday 5th of November 2023 at The Paddocks Precinct, corner of Bridge and Kesters Roads, Para Hills (enter from Bridge Rd).
If you would prefer to attend the event at Gawler on Sunday November 5th, please use this event registration:
The following items made from cotton, polyester and polycotton blends will be accepted on the day:
Sheets
Quilt covers
Pillow cases
Towels
Face cloths
Tea towels
Table linen
Note: all items must be cleanNAWMA is partnering with BlockTexx, an early-stage clean technology company that recovers polyester and cellulose from textiles. BlockTexx unlocks the value from unwanted textiles by remanufacturing them into new recycled raw materials that are used by Australian manufacturers to create a range of new products.
