Children's Autism Foundation (now proudly integrated with Autism New Zealand) presents "Give Me A CLUE - Understanding PDA in kids on the Autism Spectrum", a live online workshop for parents & whanau and any professionals who engage with children and young people on the autism spectrum. You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) & avoidant behaviours in autistic children & young people. You will also learn simple & practical strategies to support your child or the children you work with.

Topics include:

What is PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) & avoidant behaviour?
How to build trust and self-confidence in children to enable them to cope more flexibly with the demands of everyday life.
Practical strategies & a PDA "toolkit" to better support autistic children & young people.

Plus plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the session.
