The team at Children's Autism Foundation presents "Give Me A CLUE - Understanding PDA in kids on the Autism Spectrum", a 2‐hour interactive workshop for parents & whanau and any professionals who engage with children and young people on the Autism Spectrum.  You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) in children on the Autism Spectrum and with simple & practical strategies to support your child or the children you work with.

Topics include:

  • What is PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance)?
  • How to build trust and self-confidence in children to enable them to cope more flexibly with the demands of everyday life.
  • Practical strategies & a PDA "toolkit" to help manage PDA in children & young people.

This workshop is free for families/whanau/caregivers.  $50 for professionals.

Many thanks to the Louisa & Patrick Emmet Murphy Foundation for their support which enables us to offer this workshop at no cost to families/whanau.

This workshop is facilitated by Children's Autism Foundation Family Consultant, Jeanita Cush-Hunter.
