Please join us for a special event on Tuesday 1 December 7-8pm to catch up online or in-person, and celebrate Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity and giving. Award winning author and sought after speaker, Kim Chandler McDonald, will be in conversation with Andrew Everingham, Founder of Sydney Homeless Connect, together with Siobhan Bryson, CEO of Weave Youth and Community Services, recipient of IMPACT100 Sydney North's 2020 Primary Grant to support their Domestic Violence Program.

Dear 21 Year Old Self: A highlight will be hearing about "Postcards from Tomorrow", Kim's act of giving and labour of love for Lou's Place, another 2020 IMPACT100 Sydney North Grant Recipient, and Sydney's only daytime refuge for women. To mark their 21st anniversary, Kim has compiled this inspiring book, with all proceeds donated to Lou's Place. Over 270 women from all walks of life, some well-known others not, have written letters to their 21 year old self. The book brings together heartfelt messages, encompassing hilarity and heartbreak, insight and inspiration, and many never before told stories and truths.

Under the dome of giving, Andrew, Kim and Siobhan will discuss the issues around women's homelessness and domestic and family violence. It will be a thought provoking evening, we hope you can make it.
