Purpose & Impact: The future of how you Buy, Supply, and do Business
In collaboration with Natalia Muszkat (Founder, Strong Communities) and Tanya Rutherford (Founder, LearnGrowBecome) and Endeavour Foundation we invite you to come along to connect and hear from local business leaders, social enterprises, Council and purpose-led people on the value of buying from a social enterprise and the future of social procurement opportunities!
The panel will explore key opportunities for the Central QLD Region and include Paul Gunn (Head of Business Excellence, Endeavour Foundation), George Meacham (Coordinator Strategy and Education, Rockhampton Regional Council) Crystal Robson (General Manager, Strong Communities) and Jenni Marsh (CEO and managing director, Gladstone Community Linking Agency) in a conversation chaired by Tanya Rutherford (CEO & Founder, Learn Grow Become).
There will be opportunities to hear from QSEC and build relationships with potential suppliers, buyers, collaborators and connectors. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a tour around Endeavour and have conversations with other people about:
- What is Social Enterprise and what ways can they get involved?
- What is Social Procurement?
- Opportunities to increase their positive impact in their business or work
- Collaborative opportunities to meet your business needs and increase social impact
- Stories of positive Social Impact on people or planet
