GLAMSLAM 2023
Event description
GLAMSLAM is back! We're delighted to be hosting GLAMSLAM in partnership with the State Library of New South Wales Friday 31st March 2023. Join us for a GLAM-packed day of discussing the biggest issues right now for those working in and with Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums.
In 2023 we'll have two keynotes:
Jenny Newell, Curator, Climate Change Projects, Australian Museum
Kirsten Thorpe, Senior Researcher at Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education & Research, University of Technology Sydney (UTS)
As usual, we'd like to hear from as many people as possible on the day! So if you have a burning question, provocation, new exhibition, fascinating collection or anything else you'd like to share, please submit a CFP. You can submit an idea for a Lightning Talk or a Panel.
And here are some directions for how to get to the State Library.
Email public.history@uts.edu.au with any other ideas you'd like to share or shout out to us on Twitter @AusPublicHist. You can chat to us on Facebook too. Stay tuned for the programme! Sign up to our newsletter to get the latest info or follow us on Twitter or Facebook.
If you'd like to volunteer at GLAMSLAM (and gain free entry!) email public.history@uts.edu.au
