Glen Davis Reserve Community Planting Day
Description
Join us for a hands-on community planting day at Glen Davis Reserve as we help enhance the existing Habitat Circles within the reserve.
These fenced habitat circles act as small refuges that protect native plants and create safe spaces for local wildlife. On the day, volunteers will help plant additional native species inside the circles to increase plant diversity, create habitat, and support the revegetation of the reserve.
No experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm for nature and community! It’s a great chance to get outdoors, meet like-minded people, and contribute to improving habitat in your local reserve.
Gloves, tools, and plants will be provided. For safety in the bush, please wear sturdy enclosed shoes, long sleeves, long pants, sun protection, and bring a large water bottle. Snake gaiters and a fold-out chair or picnic rug are recommended.
We will also be providing catering for volunteers on the day. Please let us know any dietary requirements when registering so we can cater appropriately.
Come along and help us revegetate Glen Davis Reserve — we can’t wait to see you there!
