• Who is Glitter Gel Pen Book Club?

  Glitter Gel Pen Book Club is a Sydney-based book club and social club for women. We host intentional gatherings across Sydney’s most sought-after wine bars, restaurants, and creative spaces, providing an excuse for like-minded women to slow down and connect offline.

  Our events span book clubs, private screenings, listening parties, and social catch-ups for women looking for more considered ways to spend time in Sydney and connect with like-minded women.

  At our core, we hold a simple belief: content doesn’t need to be heavy or highbrow to be meaningful. We embrace the feminine and the so-called “frivolous”, championing feel-good fiction and lighter forms of leisure, because life is serious enough. We’re here to romanticise it.

• Can I come solo?

  Yes, most of our girlies come solo. Glitter Gel Pen Book Club is designed as a welcoming Sydney book club and social club where it’s easy to meet like-minded women and make new friends. Every event is thoughtfully set up to keep conversation flowing and help you connect naturally, so it never feels awkward. If you’re feeling a little nervous, feel free to DM us; we’ve got you 🤍

• What actually happens on the event day?

  While each event is a little different, you’ll typically be welcomed on arrival, checked in, and free to sit wherever you feel comfortable.

  You’ll find prompt cards, worksheets, and little creative touches (like DIY bookmarks) on the table. These are completely optional and can be a great way to ease in while you settle and wait for others to arrive.

  The overall vibe is warm, low-pressure, and effortlessly social. Just a room full of like-minded women, good conversation, and beautiful food and wine in an aesthetic setting.

• Do you cater to dietary requirements?

  Yes! We always do our best to accommodate dietary needs. Just let us know when booking.

• What does my ticket include?

  Ticket prices vary by venue, but we always aim to keep our events accessible and great value. Your ticket typically includes your food, wine, our signature GGP touches, curated goodie bags, and all the boring behind-the-scenes organising, including group booking fees and surcharges. Once you've purchased your ticket, everything is taken care of, so you can simply arrive and enjoy the evening. You're investing in a few wholesome hours of connection, conversation, and escapism with a room full of like-minded women. And the cherry on top? Humanitix directs 100% of booking fees to charity 🍒

• Can I need to cancel my ticket?

  You can receive a full refund up to 14 days before the event. After this, refunds are only available if your ticket is successfully resold. Tickets resold by GGP after this period incur a $10 admin fee to cover promotion and processing. To avoid this fee, you’re welcome to resell your ticket yourself via the GGP group chats or the Humanitix resale platform. To resell on Humanitix, open your confirmation email, click 'Manage Order', and select the 'Resale' tab. Once your ticket is sold, refunds are processed within 2-5 days.
