This year’s beneficiary: SMYRC

A portion of ticket proceeds will go to benefit Portland non-profit, SMYRC. 

SMYRC is a program of New Avenues for Youth that provides drop-in services to young queer and trans people downtown. It is a family of services and efforts supporting these youth in various ways including housing, employment, case management and more.

In addition, Humanitix is a registered charity that donates 100% of profits to social impact projects that provide education, healthcare, and life’s basic necessities to disadvantaged children. 

VENUE INFORMATION

Green Anchors is located at 8940 N. Bradford St. Portland, OR 97203. It is located next to the Cathedral Park parking lot between N. Bradford St. and the Willamette River. 

Directions to Green Anchors:  Drive down Baltimore St towards the river. Park in the Cathedral Park parking lot, or the surrounding neighborhood. Enter Green Anchors from the Cathedral Park parking lot through the gate at the western corner of the lot. The entrance will be lit. There is a short ramp that you will walk up to enter through this gate. 

Accessibility

If you have questions about accessibility we are here to help. This venue does have an entrance where folks with accessibility needs can drive in and park close to the concert space. We will have designated seating areas marked off and set aside. We will have HA porta potties on site. Please email your accessibility questions and requests to glitterfoxband@gmail.com. 

The Green Anchors Accessibility Entrance is located on N. Bradford St. To get there: Drive down Baltimore St. towards the Willamette River. At the bottom of the hill you will come to a stop sign and you will be facing the entrance to the Cathedral Park parking lot. Take a right here on N. Bradford St. and drive along THE LEFT SIDE of the railroad tracks approximately 100 feet until you reach the entrance to Green Anchors. Attendants will let you in the gate and give you parking instructions.

The history of ✨Glitterfest✨

Glitterfest began as the open-to-the-public wedding reception of Glitterfox front persons Solange Igoa & Andrea Walker on Sept 22, 2019. That magical, rainy Sunday the couple got married, dropped a new album, hosted ten bands on two stages, and days later took off on a cross country honeymoon tour.

Since then, Glitterfest has continued as an autumnal party bringing friends and music lovers to one of Portland's quirkiest music venues: Green Anchors.

This year Glitterfest will once again embrace the October Halloween spirit with a haunted house, costume contest, and spooky themes. While hosting two nights of legendary lineups featuring artists from Portland and beyond.
