AIDN was founded in 2018 with a mission to foster “more” and “better” giving and investing from Australians to international causes. In our 2018 Manifesto, we set out how AIDN proposed to achieve this goal: by bringing a stronger and collective voice to address common issues to increase the flow and quality of international giving and impact investing; to provide tools and resources to help Australians overcome some of the barriers; and to help coordinate initiatives between private sector, corporate and government philanthropists and investors to yield greater benefits abroad.

At the end of 2025, AIDN launched our "Impact Project and Survey on the State of Australian International Giving and Investing". From Philanthropod and The AIDN Beat, to Global Givers Socials and Insight Tours, our Impact Project set out to answer one question: Has AIDN moved the dial on international giving and investing from the Australian market?

We are now delighted to invite our network to the launch of our Flagship Impact Report 2026: "The Glue That Binds: Insights from Seven Years of Strengthening Australian International Giving and Investing".

This launch will be short and sharp (30 mins) and will then be followed by a Global Givers Social to continue the conversation, get together with philanthropists, development professionals, and like-minded individuals passionate about global causes.

$15 per person, includes a welcome drink.

The event is open to anyone with an interest in international development and philanthropy.
