UNITED IN PRIDE: Panel & Afternoon Tea @ Les Mills International
Event description
HAPPY GLOBAL PRIDE MONTH
Please join us on the afternoon of Thursday 26th June to close out Global Pride Month in style – and in community.
Facilitated by the inimitable Martin King, Director of Pride Pledge, this year’s panel is all about UNITED – what can we achieve when we do it as a team? How can we work together – Rainbow folks and allies – and be brave enough to change the world for our tamariki and rangatahi? Bring your curiosity, bring your questions, bring your taringas for an hour of learning and connection.
Featuring a stellar lineup of panellists from the LMI Rainbow Advisory Team, the Burnett Foundation (formerly NZ AIDS Foundation), and Pride Pledge, this is one you don’t want to miss!
For those joining us in person, we’ll be providing afternoon tea from some incredible local queer-owned businesses (did someone say Neat Cakes?!). We’ll also be inviting the ‘Gaybourhood’ along – a wonderful contingent of our business neighbours who are also committed to queer inclusion. Please welcome any new faces into our space when you see them and get to know our neighbours – that’s community baby!
This session can also be joined remotely via Teams, and will be recorded for our Global Teammates.
