Akala Newman - is a rising dark angel of Alt-pop — a proud Wiradjuri/Gadigal artist blending future-pop, alternative R&B, and experimental electronic sounds
with language, lineage, and fierce storytelling. Described at SXSW Sydney 2025 by Rolling Stone as “a true crowd igniter,” she has performed at major events including Vivid Sydney, Sydney Festival, and Sydney’s iconic Sydney New Year's Eve Fireworks.

Her  latest EP (A)RISE — created during a rural Greece residency and supported by Sound NSW — explores transformation, ancestry, and self through ethereal club energy and powerful cultural resonance.

Malaika Mfalme - London-born and raised across continents, Malaika Mfalme is a

Tanzanian/Australian singer blending folk, soul, East African choral traditions, and immersive live looping, Malaika creates music rooted in Black love, grief, tenderness, and collective healing. Their work is known for rich vocal harmonies, call-and-response, and emotionally expansive performances that invite audiences into moments of reflection, softness, and connection.

RAYHAB - is the alt-pop project of Greek-Australian songwriter/producer/engineer, Natasha Newling. An innovative new voice in Australian alternative music, she blends the underground with pop creating a unique sonic experience akin to the down-tempo cool of Portishead melded with the modern sultry feel of Addison Rae. Cinematic, grungy alt-pop entirely self-written and produced.

Steph Martei - is a Ghana-born, Sydney-based multidisciplinary artist, illustrator and graphic designer whose practice centres on vibrant portraiture and visual storytelling. Working across traditional and digital mediums, her work explores identity, representation, culture and empowerment, celebrating people and communities often overlooked in mainstream narratives. Inspired by graphic novels, animation and her own experiences of representation, Steph creates work that invites her subjects to take up space unapologetically.
