Global Roller Derby Awards Weekend

Join Angel City Derby for a momentous weekend celebrating the incredible sport of roller derby!

Kick off the season with two days of world-class derby action and community celebration. We’re bringing some of the best skaters on the planet to Los Angeles for an epic weekend featuring live roller derby on Saturday and the inaugural Global Roller Derby Awards on Sunday.

Saturday – Live Roller Derby

USA Roller Derby vs. World Cup All Stars
Watch the world’s top roller derby team, USA Roller Derby, take on a hand-picked All Star roster representing nine nations that competed at the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup!

To get the night started, enjoy a phenomenal matchup between Queer Skate Alliance and Black Derby Collective.

Ticket prices listed are pre-sale only, all tickets are more expensive at the door. Bundle tickets for both Saturday & Sunday's events for the lowest price available.

Saturday Parking Information:

Street parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Additional parking is available at LA Face Mart. Parking Entrance is on 14th place (across from 755 14th).

The venue is across the street (2 min walk) at 785 E 14th place. Parking is $13 (cash or card).

If you want to pay in advance, purchase it on the ticket page and show your receipt to the attendance in the neon ACD vest.

Sunday – Global Roller Derby Awards

We’re proud to host the first annual Global Roller Derby Awards, a live awards show honoring the standout skaters, officials, teams, and moments that defined the 2025 season.

7:30 PM – Awards Program Begins
10:00 PM – Awards Program Ends
10:00 PM – After Party Begins @ Uncle Ollie’s Penthouse

About the Awards

We’ll be presenting awards in 20 categories, including Jammer of the Year, Blocker of the Year, Breakout Team, Triple Threat of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, and many more.

After a red carpet entrance, nominees and guests will enjoy drinks and dinner before taking their seats for the awards ceremony. Guests will be seated at dining tables for the awards program, which will feature live entertainment and 20 awards honoring the 2025 roller derby season and the broader roller derby community.

Tickets include:
• Dinner
• Reserved seating at a dining table
• Entry to the official after party

Dress code is Red Carpet Fabulous - so feel free to dress up, whatever that means to you!

Please note: Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. This catered event is pre-sale only. Beverages will be available for purchase. GRDA event and after party are 21+.

After Party

Close out the weekend at Uncle Ollie’s Penthouse, just a 6-minute drive from the venue.
Awards Ceremony guests receive FREE entry.
Separate after-party only tickets will also be available for purchase (including at the door).

• Street parking is limited — carpooling or ride share is encouraged

• Saturday's event is ADA accessible with designated seating and parking (first-come, first-served)

• No outside food, beverages, or chairs allowed to any of the events

• Angel City Derby reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual for inappropriate behavior, security risks, or violation of event policies
