Welcome Lunch & African Drumming
Come with an empty tummy. 😋 You've just arrived on the shuttle bus to the pristine gardens of Melbourne University's Burnley Campus. Take in the scenery whilst you orient yourself, grab some Jollof Rice or perhaps Egusi from our friends at Adonai Restaurant, hosted by the African Health & Wellbeing Society and enjoy the drumming whilst you stroll around club stalls!

Workshops & Campus Tours
Killed another house plant? Well never again! Burnley Campus is Melbourne University's home of everything green - green roofs, green agriculture, horticulture and much more. Learn from professors, staff and students about what makes it special. Explore the campus on one of our two campus tours. Get hands on propagating some plants. Get dirty and help garden. Learn how to play the drums. Our workshops have something for everyone enthusiastic to make a difference! Workshops on the day are being run by Graduate Agriculture and Food Society, CERES, University of Melbourne, City of Yarra, PEN and more! Detailed schedule coming soon.
- 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
The Garden Party
Okay so this is where we turn it up. We've brought in some amazing DJs and the best sound system we could find to create a moody evening out on the lawns. Free BBQ dinner, social events and a TOTALLY FREE BAR will just make you wonder if this whole day has been too good to be true!
GTG FAQs
- What do I get access to with my ticket?
Absolutely everything on campus.
If you get a bus pass, you can also use our shuttle buses to Parkville Campus as well as the Burnley station on request :)
- What do I need to get a ticket?
Just a few things:
Your name
Email
Mobile number
Profile (Student, Academic, Volunteer, Club etc...)
Club membership
How you heard about this event
Bus pass tickets will also get the option to add a few bus slots they wish to use. This isn't mandatory to turn up to, but gives us a good idea of how busy buses will be at certain times.
- Can I refund my ticket
No ticket options are refundable. This includes the bus pass.
- How many tickets can I buy?
We've set an individual purchase limit of 10 tickets per transactions to prevent scalping. If you need more, just make another transaction.
- I want to add a bus pass later. How do I do this?
Unfortunately Humanitix doesn't give us the ability to switch your tickets across and pay the difference, so you'll just need to put your details in again and get another ticket with a bus pass. If you email us pen.unimelb@gmail.com, we are happy to remove the old ticket for you, as well, but this isn't a requirement.
