Jazz Night with the Gloria Galante Jazz Quartet

Sponsored by Philly Jazz Month and Creative Philadelphia, The Fallser Club presents Jazz Night with a live jazz music performance of the Gloria Galante Jazz Quartet. Gloria is a classically trained harpist who has expanded the role of the instrument in improvisational jazz. She will be joined by her talented quartet of musicians. Gloria Galante, Harp; Craig McIver, Drums; Lee Smith, Bass; Marc Adler, Flute.

Gloria was honored with the 2019 Jazz Legacy Award from the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts. She is a dedicated performer and educator who studied under the first woman harpist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Edna Phillips, and has been recognized for her significant contributions to the Philadelphia jazz community.

The Girard College Jazz Ensemble,

The Girard College Jazz Ensemble is a group of musicians who attend Philadelphia's historic school and participate in its music program. Led by saxophonist Malachi Rose, these talented young students are part of the new generation of jazz players. They bring a fresh perspective to the music along with groove and soul.

By Car or By Train

The East Falls Train Station is a short walk from the Fallser Club. Parking in East Falls is no problem! There is ample free on-street parking near the East Falls train station driveway at 3610 Midvale Ave and a paid municipal lot three blocks away at 4100 Ridge Ave.  Midvale Ave and Ridge Ave are both well-lit!
